G. Granular contracted kidney: 

It is a diffusely scarred kidney in which the presence of abnormal fibrous tissue and ischemic atrophy leads to a reduction in its size.

Causes of granular contracted kidney include:

1. Benign nephrosclerosis

2. Chronic pyelonephritis

3. Chronic glomerulonephritis
