Is a type of blood vessel malformation associated with collection of dilated blood vessels. In skin, they are called port wine nevus or nevus flammeus.
Larger lesions and are less well circumscribed
Known to involve deep structures like liver and brain
Large dilated interconnecting cavernous vascular spaces lined by flattened endothelium
Intervening scant compressed fibrous stroma.
