Bright red to blue lesions of few mm to several cms in diameter
Lesions in level with the surface or slightly elevated with intact overlying epithelium
Are hemangiomas associated with capillaries often seen to involve the skin, subcutaneous tissue or mucous membranes.
Subepithelial lesion consisting of lobules of tiny capillaries lined by plump endothelial cells.
Presence of scant fibrous stroma between the capillaries.
