Primary tuberculosis occurs in individuals infected with mycobacterium tuberculosis for the first time and lung is the most common site of involvement. Secondary tuberculosis occurs in previously sensitized individuals, due to reinfection/reactivation of dormant disease/ progress from primary lesion.
